    Makar Sankranti is believed traditionally to mark the arrival of spring in India. As it is the festival of Sun God and he is regarded as the symbol of divinity and wisdom, the festival also holds an eternal meaning to it. We had celebrated this festival with songs, dances, Haridas and the traditional bonfire.
